Blizzard (what a sad day)
Ok so i dont condone cheating in games but really developers only have themselves to blame for people cheating.
Does anyone remember IDKFA in Doom? or POWER OVERWHELMING in StarCraft? What about GOD in CSS (with cheat +1)???????
They really only have themselves to blame.
Below is an excert from ausgamers.com.au
“Blizzard have again laid down the smack on cheating in Warcraft 3:
A number of additional accounts and CD keys have been tied to the use of a hack or cheat program while playing
Warcraft III on Battle.net. In keeping with our aggressive stance against cheating, we have permanently closed
53,928 Warcraft III accounts. 8,168 of the Warcraft III CD keys used with the now-closed accounts have been
banned from ladder play for one month, and 3,331 more have been banned from ladder play permanently.
Repeat offenders risk having their CD keys disabled, which will result in the permanent removal of their
copies of Warcraft III from Battle.net.”

I have been an avid Blizzard game player since the Lost Vikings days. I remeber sitting down
and playing Warcraft, Warcraft 2, Diablo, Starcraft, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3 etc (worse yet i actually
own a copy of all these games). I can’t believe that Blizzards customer service has hit such a down
hill slide so fast. World of Warcraft may be one of the best games ever released but what happens
to your account (and money) in 6 years when everyone has lost interest and servers start shutting
down? Lets look at this from a financial point of view. Outlay $90 (just for the game) + $30 per month
for 6 years = $2250. Wow 2 and a half grand for a character that once your server shuts down is no longer in exsistance.
So you just spent $2250 on what, nothing.
\/\/o\/\/ a game i shall never be able to afford to play 🙁
Sorry Blizzard love your work but you and Valve should get together and stuff it up for all gamers
Thanks for reading my rant

You have alot to say.. i agree with u on all.. On CSS Steam is just wasteing our time with all the hackers and stuff its just not worth the effort, and with WoW people says its the best rpg online game ever made but.. as u said… its not worth it!

They got banned cause they were hacking….fair enough. But the end user is getting the rough end of the stick because of servers that Blizzard put into place that you have to play on cause you cant play anywhere else. Someone once tried to bring out a netcode similar to Battle.net and got a law suit shoved up thier butt cause Blizzard wanted full market control.
Sounds like another Microsoft in the making…. Whatever happened to fair trading?
I just would have like to been shown some loyalty from Blizzard (seeing as i have 90% of their games) to keep all there games single player and LANable (and multiplayable on the web) ripped off.
Good sites are Ausgamers.com.au and ozforcefiles.com
But you can get them all over the web
