Nah — the “bloddy” American laws would (if passed) require sales to be restricted based on ESRB ratings. Given that the ESRB is a voluntary rating system and not actually controlled by a government body, I doubt that anyone will let the laws through in their current form.
Of course if Australia did happen to take on similar laws, it might mean that we’d finally get an R rating. That would certainly be nice.
