The Lan proposed for February will not go ahead until we can find a venue.
Due to worries about public perception the Council Chambers will no be available.

The Telecentre may still be an option but an overnight LAN there is unlikely.
At its January meeting the Telecentre will consider a proposal from KIA to have a monthly LAN and replace the video cards currently in their machine with something newer (CSS anyone?)
If the telecentre does upgrade KIA will look at paying for copies of CSS

If we are to get the LAN going and new video cards put into the Telecentre computers we will need to show support for having LAN’s at the Telecentre.

NITS is also looking at running LAN’s in the future with a big supply of computers (really decent too) coming in and approx 30 or so by Feb
